TASK 3 CREATE A QUIA QUIZ Well done guys! You are almost at the end of your I-QUEST! But now lets test the rest of the class to see how much they have learnt about your cultures and their New Year celebrations. Task 3 requires you to come together with you group members and create a quiz related to the information you had in your book. What you need to do now is go on to QUIA Games and create a quiz. Remember, other groups will be taking your quiz and your group will be taking other groups quizzes, therefore you need to ensure that you listen to what the other groups say about their cultures and their New Year celebrations!  | TASK 4 CREATE A PIECE OF CULTURE OK, now once you have read this senctence, we would like you to close you eyes and think about the things that you have just investigated, think about the cultural celebration, what was the most interesting or inspiring thing you found about your cultural new year celebration? Now that you have had a few moments to think about that, we would like for you and your group to create an item to present to your class to help illustrate all the new and interesting information you have learnt. Be creative! This item can be anything… possible ideas include: A song, poem, dance, musical piece, a mask, a puppet, an outfit, a cook book with recipes of the food eaten on the special occasion or anything else you can think of. Go back to your book, have a look at these special and important things and get creative! ***You can always go back to the helpful links that we have provided for you in task 1 or you could go further and do your own extra research using search engines such as Google or Yahoo. |

Cultural and Diversity Mania Expo
Wohoo! You are on the final but most exciting task ever!
Now that you are all experts, it is time to celebrate by sharing your knowledge and creativity with the rest of the school.
In your groups you will set a table for the New Year’s celebration that you have been learning about.
Your teacher will organize a time and place for your class to exhibit your mind maps, books, quizzes and cultural creations to the rest of the school and parents.
To jazz things up a little bit more, you will be required to wear the cultural outfit of the country that you researched about.
LET’S DO THIS!
Now put together all the things you have collated throughout your I-QUEST and get ready to celebrate!
*Feel free to bring any cultural or traditional food that you have learnt about.
